ON THE TOWN
6"X6"
OIL ON PANEL
I came across this little guy on a morning walk in San Diego. There is a certain freedom in painting dogs instead of humans. I think it's that unconditional love thing and they don't really care if you got a likeness or not.

Too cute! Love that red leash against all the gray.
Wow, I really love this one, Anita! Nice, loose brushwork. I like how he really stands out against the neutral background. You've captured his strut, and it makes me want to follow him!
Thank you Virginia and Linda. Yorkies do have that strut going on.
This is a FABULOUS painting.
Hi, I love your paintings. I'm trying to follow your steps here from Brazil. I'm starting a daily painting project for this month and maybe for the next year. I hope you could give me some tips to improve. I'm painting postcard size still lifes from life and using acrylics on watercolor paper. Take a look at: http://www.cristinajaco.art.br
Thanks,
Cris
